I met Billy Two Rivers (Kaientaronkwen) in the Sixties in our shop at 78 Abbey Street, Bangor, when he travelled throughout the UK as a wrestler. He went on to become a leader of the Kahnawake Mohawk Nation and played a prominent role in the Oka Crisis. He maintained friendships in Ulster, as a result of which I and my wife were provided with Indian headgear at our wedding, in appreciation of my own Wisdom Keeper status among the Lakota…..see also Billy in Wikapaedia.
