- This concert which I attended last night followed a similar intimate series of concerts that Van Morrison gave earlier this year at the Culloden Estate in aid if the Lyric Theatre, Belfast. Such was the positive reaction to those shows that he was presuaded to reprise his gig at the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa.
Van is undoubtedly a unique asset to cultural life in Northern Ireland..By the same token our temperate climate and our landscape mean we have unique and authentic food to offer as well. Last night’s menu featured the produce of many of our local farmers.
