Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, author and multi-instrumentalist, Van Morrison, brought his own distinctive blend of R & B, soul, Celtic influences and lyrical visionary to East Anglia this summer as he performed at Adnams Newmarket Nights.
Widely considered as one of the most important artists of our time and a true musical innovator, Van Morrison composer and hit recorder of such classic hits as Brown Eyed Girl, Have I Told You Lately, Bright Side of the Road and Moondance headlined at Newmarket Racecourses tonight.
The legendary artist has produced over 20 studio albums and received considerable acclaim, including six Grammy Awards, a BRIT award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music and an induction into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
